CAREC suggests organizing Central Asian rally of electric vehicles

At the 27th meeting of the CAREC Energy Sector Coordinating Committee in the Turkmen capital, a proposal to organize a rally of electric cars in Central Asia was made.
According to the idea, the event should draw the attention of the interested parties in the region to the potential of renewable energy and demonstrate the possibilities of cars working on electricity.
According to the route map, the crews will start in Almaty (Kazakhstan), after which they will pass through the capitals of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, and finish in the Turkmen capital – in white marble Ashgabat.
In each of the cities through which electro mobiles will pass, seminars on the development of “green energy” and its prospects are planned to be hold.
The Asian Development Bank will be in charge with organizational issues of the auto racing at the preparatory stage.
