UAE is home for the happiest people in the Arab world


According to the World Happiness Report, the United Arab Emirates is recognized as the happiest country in the Arab world. In the latest version of the report, published annually by the Sustainable Development Solutions Network for the United Nations on the eve of the International Happiness Day (20 March), 156 countries are estimated at six key indicators of the population's wellbeing such as income, freedom, trust, life expectancy, social support and generosity. In addition, 117 countries have set a separate scale for the well-being of migrants. According to outcomes of 2017, the UAE is leader in both rankings, occupying in the first one 20th line, and in the second one - 19th place. Regarding other representatives of the Middle East, Qatar and Saudi Arabia have been ranked 32nd and 33rd on the list of 156 countries. Bahrain and Kuwait occupy the 43rd and 45th positions respectively. According to the UN, the population of the Emirates amounts to 9.4 million people with the migrants, making up 88%. GDP per capita is estimated at $ 68,200.
