“Akhal” opens home games of the Turkmen clubs of the group stage in the Cup of the Asian Football Confederation – 2018

A press conference dedicated to the upcoming match between the silver medal winner of Turkmenistan, the owner of the country's Cup in 2017, FC “Akhal” and the champion of Kyrgyzstan “Alay” in the group stage of the AFC – 2018 Cup, was held in the capital’s hotel “Yildiz”. The match will be held tomorrow at the stadium “Ashgabat”. Earlier in the first round, “Akhal” lost to the Tajik “Istiklolu” on the away match with a score of 0:1. Moreover, another representative of Turkmenistan in-group D – “Altyn Asyr” won the "Alay" with a score of 6:3 in the Kyrgyz city of Osh. Rovshan Meredov, the head coach of “Akhal”, said in an interview with ORIENT, his team were intensively trained in order to avoid earlier mistakes. He also shared that after studying the previous matches of the opponent, they developed a certain tactic of the game, which will help them to win.
