Minister of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations of Turkmenistan Meets with Qatari Minister of State for Trade Affairs
On November 26, in Doha, State of Qatar, a meeting took place between the Minister of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations of Turkmenistan, Nazar Agakhanov, and the Minister of State for Trade Affairs at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of the State of Qatar, Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Sayed. The meeting was held on the sidelines of the 9th World Investment Forum, which took place under the theme "Investing in the Future."
During the meeting, Nazar Agakhanov expressed his appreciation for the invitation to the Forum and highlighted the importance of international cooperation in the investment sphere. Emphasizing the positive development of Turkmen-Qatari relations across various sectors, he noted the significance of the work carried out by the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Qatari Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation. In this context, the parties also exchanged views on the implementation of initiatives outlined within these areas of cooperation.
Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Sayed thanked the Turkmen delegation for their participation in the World Investment Forum and reaffirmed a firm commitment to elevating bilateral relations between Turkmenistan and the State of Qatar to an even higher level in the future.
Furthermore, the meeting addressed the potential for organizing various events and discussions between the two friendly nations.
