Turkmenistan Participates in the Meeting of the SCO Council of Heads of Government in Dushanbe
Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Khojamyrat Geldymyradov took part in the meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states, held in Dushanbe on October 20. The Turkmen delegation attended the high-level summit as a guest of honor.
Participants in the meeting discussed key areas of regional trade and economic cooperation, focusing on strengthening transport and logistics connectivity and implementing joint energy initiatives.
Ashgabat’s participation in the SCO summit reaffirms Turkmenistan’s consistent policy of developing a multi-vector foreign policy, integrating into regional economic corridors, and promoting constructive dialogue based on mutual respect and consideration for the interests of all parties.
