Mobile Operator Altyn Asyr to Undertake Large-Scale Network and Equipment Modernization
The national mobile operator, CJSC "Altyn Asyr," is entering a phase of intensive technical upgrades. During a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on October 17, Deputy Prime Minister Batyr Annayev reported on the implementation of practical steps to procure high-tech equipment and expand partnerships with leading global vendors of digital solutions.
The infrastructure modernization project aims to increase network capacity, consistently expand 4G coverage across all regions (velayats) of the country, and lay the groundwork for the introduction of new digital services.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov approved the proposals, emphasizing the need to provide the population and business entities with uninterrupted, high-speed mobile connectivity at affordable rates.
