Meeting Held Between the Heads of Turkmenistan and Tajikistan in Avaza


A meeting took place in the "Avaza" National Tourist Zone between President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, and President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon.
At the beginning of the conversation, the Tajik leader expressed his gratitude to the President of Turkmenistan for the invitation and the warm welcome, noting the steady development of bilateral relations across all areas of mutual interest.
The heads of state reaffirmed their mutual interest in further deepening their strategic partnership. During a constructive dialogue, the parties discussed a wide range of issues in detail, including political interstate dialogue, trade and economic ties, the transport, logistics, and transit sectors, as well as cooperation in the fuel and energy spheres.

Particular attention was paid during the meeting to strengthening cultural and humanitarian ties. The leaders of the two countries also exchanged views on pressing issues regarding the regional and international agenda.
