Presidents of Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan Discuss Promising Energy and Transport Projects in Avaza


On October 8, a meeting took place in the "Avaza" National Tourist Zone—as part of the summit program—between President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, and President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
The Head of Kazakhstan thanked Serdar Berdimuhamedov for the traditional hospitality, emphasizing the high level of interstate relations rooted in centuries-old ties of friendship, good-neighborliness, and mutual support. The leaders noted with satisfaction the positive momentum of bilateral cooperation across the entire spectrum of the strategic agenda.

During the talks, the Presidents reviewed the implementation status of previously reached interstate agreements in detail and discussed promising joint initiatives in key sectors, including energy, industrial cooperation, agriculture, transport, and logistics. Particular attention was paid to expanding cultural and humanitarian ties, as well as coordinating the schedule of upcoming joint events at the highest and high levels.
