BD-Travel Showcases Tours to Turkmenistan at Tourism EXPO Japan 2026 in Tokyo

Thanks to comprehensive state support for the domestic hospitality industry and the elevation of the tourism sector to a new level of quality, major global market players are showing keen interest in establishing long-term partnerships with the country’s leading operators. A prime example of this integration was the participation of "Bilimli Diyar" (BD-Travel) in the large-scale international exhibition Tourism EXPO Japan 2026, held from September 24 to 27 at the Tokyo Big Sight exhibition center.
The event—which brought together 1,420 organizations from 74 countries and attracted approximately 180,000 visitors under the theme "The Evolution of Travel"—served as an ideal platform for showcasing exclusive itineraries across Turkmenistan. BD-Travel made a strong impression at the Tokyo forum, hosting its own branded stand and conducting a series of B2B meetings with top executives from leading Japanese and international travel agencies.

The parties focused on organizing reciprocal tourist flows, establishing direct contracts, and showcasing the region's unique historical and cultural heritage. Foreign partners and exhibition visitors were offered a diverse array of travel experiences: from exploring the architecture of white-marble Ashgabat and the ancient settlements of Nisa, Merv, and Margush to visiting natural wonders—such as the Darvaza gas crater, the Yangykala Canyons, and the Dinosaur Plateau—as well as enjoying a high-end getaway at the Avaza resort on the Caspian coast.
The vibrant folklore element served as the emotional heart and a picturesque highlight of the Turkmen stand. Traditional costumes, the sounds of folk instruments, and authentic songs drew immense attention, acting as a universal, sincere, and deeply moving cultural language that united the guests and participants of the international forum.

Entering the Japanese market marks a natural progression in the systematic strategy of BD-Travel, a company that has previously successfully showcased its products at industry events in Beijing, Kuala Lumpur, Osaka, and Berlin. Impeccable service and high operational standards have enabled the company to earn the trust of travelers from dozens of countries, including the USA, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Japan, China, Singapore, Malaysia, and Kazakhstan.
By systematically expanding its geographical reach and preparing an extensive program of unique tours and special itineraries for 2027, BD-Travel reaffirms its status as a reliable guide to the rich culture and hospitality of Turkmenistan.
