The President of Turkmenistan Was Awarded a Jubilee Medal on the Occasion of the 35th Anniversary of the Country's Independence
The Mejlis of Turkmenistan adopted a resolution awarding President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the jubilee medal "Türkmenistanyň Garaşsyzlygynyň 35 ýyllygyna bagyşlanyp geçirilen dabaraly harby ýörişe gatnaşyja."
This decision was made based on proposals received from people's representatives, public associations, labor collectives, and citizens of the country, in accordance with Article 81 of the Constitution of Turkmenistan. The document recognizes the head of state's outstanding achievements in strengthening the country's sovereignty and defense capabilities, consistently implementing the defensive Military Doctrine, improving the material and technical infrastructure of the Armed Forces, and improving the conditions of service for defenders of the Fatherland.
Particular emphasis is placed on the head of state's personal contribution to ensuring security and law and order, promoting international peacekeeping initiatives based on permanent neutrality, and instilling in young people a sense of military patriotism in the spirit of loyalty and love for the Motherland.
