Turkmen Referee Kristina Berseneva Appointed to Officiate Asian Games Match in Japan

Kristina Berseneva, a football referee from Turkmenistan, has been selected to join the officiating team for a match at the 20th Asian Games (Aichi-Nagoya 2026) in Japan.
Officiating the Uzbekistan vs. Hong Kong Match
On September 21, a match between the national teams of Uzbekistan and Hong Kong (China) took place at the Wave Stadium Kariya as part of the third round of Group G.
Kristina Berseneva was appointed as the second assistant referee (AR 2).
The match ended with a 2–1 victory for the Uzbekistan national team.
International Representation
Berseneva’s appointment to an Asian Games match marks another instance of a Turkmen official participating in international football refereeing.
Domestically, Kristina Berseneva also officiates matches in the Turkmenistan Championship; the Football Federation of Turkmenistan lists her as an assistant referee for national league games.
A Turkmen referee’s participation in officiating matches at such a high-level international tournament broadens the practical experience of the country's refereeing community and represents Turkmenistan on the international sports stage.
