This concern found expression in the creation of an excellent infrastructure for children's recreation in the natural health centers of the country. To replace the old summer camps, where the housing facilities consisted of long rooms with beds and bedside tables, there are now real white marble palaces with comfortable sleeping rooms, with a set of services as in a hotel, as well as with computer classes and talent studios, cinemas and gyms, swimming pools and playgrounds. Only in the foothills of Gyokdere near Ashgabat 14 such children's recreational and health centers were built. Another 8 - on the resort coast of the Caspian Sea in Avaza. In addition to such centers, 5 new children’s health complexes were opened in all velayats. During the summer holidays, more than 18 thousand schoolchildren rested in the children's centers of Gekdere and children’s health camps on Avaza seaside accommodated about 9 thousand schoolchildren. Over five thousand boys and girls were received by local children’s health complexes in different regions of the country. Summer camps at schools began to work in a new format, where useful and educational entertainment under the supervision of teachers was organized for children. Both in children’s health complexes and summer camps at schools there were programs of various events, including museum tours, walking tours, environmental actions, intellectual and sports competitions, creative competitions, as well as touring entertainers and theatrical groups.
