Central Asia's breakdancing championship takes Almaty for the first time

On February 17-18, the Central Asia Championship on breakdance (Gravity Game Battle Volume 1) will take place for the first time in the Kazakh city of Almaty.
As the Kazakh information site Khabar 24 reports, the main goal of the championship is the development of this kind of youth dance in the country and popularization of the principles of a healthy lifestyle among young people. According to the decision of the IOC, breakdance is included in the program of the 2018 Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires.
In addition to these noble goals, at the Almaty championship ambitious masters of breakdancing, or, as they are called b-boys, have the opportunity to get a ticket to the International Championship (ComboNation), which will be held in Kazan - capital of Tatarstan, in April this year. It is expected that the Kazan championship will bring together the best dancers from the states of Central Asia and Russia.
However, this is not the limit. Already this fall, another breakdancing championship will take place in Almaty, where participants will be selected for the world championship.
Dance fights promise to be hot. Such tournaments show that breakdancing is efforts and exhausting workouts, and not just a colorful show.
