In large cities of Turkmenistan, Russian citizens will be able to vote in the presidential elections of Russia
There will be 5 polling stations in Ashgabat, Dashoguz, Mary, Turkmenabat and Turkmenbashi for all citizens of Russia living in Turkmenistan as well as temporarily staying in the country, including tourists, students, business travelers and others, the website of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Turkmenistan.
Persons who have reached the age of 18 and have a passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation, including foreign, diplomatic and service, will be able to vote for the candidate for the presidency of their country.
At the consular section of the Russian Embassy in Ashgabat, the voting will take place at polling station No.8287, at the consular section of the diplomatic mission in Turkmenbashi will be possible to vote at polling station No. 288. The addresses of polling stations in other region’s centers will be published on the website of the Russian Embassy in Turkmenistan soon.
The election of the President of the Russian Federation will be held on March 18 this year. There are 8 candidates for the post of head of state, including an incumbent president – Vladimir Putin.
