The State Security Council of Turkmenistan Summarized the Work of Its Security Agencies for the Past Eight Months
On September 4, President and Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a meeting of the State Security Council to review the performance of the military and law enforcement agencies for January-August of this year. Key topics on the agenda included the consistent strengthening of the material and technical infrastructure of all security agencies, the systematic implementation of digital systems, improving law enforcement practices, and preparations for the celebration of the 35th anniversary of the country's independence, including the jubilee military parade.
Comprehensive infrastructure modernization and the integration of advanced technologies are central to the development strategy of the security agencies. During the meeting, personnel decisions were approved in the prosecutor's office, and a decision was signed to construct new administrative buildings and service housing for migration service units in the Dashoguz and Mary velayats.
Attention is focused on the implementation of Turkmenistan's purely defensive Military Doctrine, improving the qualifications of personnel, ensuring a high level of public safety, protecting the state border as a frontier of friendship and cooperation, and holding a national road safety month in September.
