Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Inspected the Second-Stage Projects for the City of Arkadag
On August 29, National Leader of the Turkmen People and Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, made a working visit to the city of Arkadag, where he inspected the construction of the second-stage facilities and the reconstruction of the International Akhal-Teke Equestrian Complex.
The first stop was the museum attached to the mosque, which is currently under construction and can accommodate 30,000 people. A digital presentation system with AI technology and 3D animation has been installed in the building. Interactive monitors in Turkmen, Russian, and English present a database on the history of Akhal-Teke horses, national carpet weaving, and the country's natural environment.
The Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty was also presented the projects for a kindergarten and a specialized secondary school with in-depth study of foreign languages.
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov then visited the International Akhal-Teke Equestrian Complex and learned about its large-scale modernization plan. The reconstruction will include renovations to the racetrack, administrative buildings, museum, and infrastructure of the Aba Annayev horse breeders' village. The hippodrome's park area will be equipped with nighttime lighting.
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov then headed to the indoor arena of the complex's equestrian building, where, as is tradition, he visited his horse, named Khanbeg, and took a horseback ride.
At the end of his visit, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov inspected projects related to the construction of a road on Akhalteke Atlary Avenue in the city of Arkadag, on the section from the Taýçanak monument to the Polatly monument, and gave relevant instructions on ensuring comfortable driving conditions on the highways, creating park areas along them, and installing horse sculptures along the roadsides.
