President Serdar Berdimuhamedov Received Newly Appointed Turkish Ambassador Şener Cebeci
On Friday, August 28, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov received Şener Cebeci, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey to Turkmenistan, who presented his credentials to the head of state. The diplomat conveyed warm greetings and best wishes from President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to the head of state and the Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty, emphasizing his honor to represent Turkey in a brotherly country. The Turkmen leader congratulated the plenipotentiary on his appointment and wished him success in strengthening the strategic dialogue.
During the conversation, the parties noted with satisfaction the trusting and long-standing nature of Turkmen-Turkish relations. Particular attention was paid to regular contacts at the highest and government levels, as well as the close positions of the two countries within authoritative international organizations, primarily the UN, on issues of regional security and sustainable development.
The President of Turkmenistan singled out Turkey as one of the country's leading trade and economic partners, noting the key role of the Intergovernmental Commission and the Business Council in expanding contacts, and also emphasized the sustainable dynamics of cultural and humanitarian exchange.
