Serdar Berdimuhamedov Inspected the Construction of the International Pediatric Center

On August 21, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov made a working visit to the south of Ashgabat, where he inspected the final stage of construction of the International Pediatric Center. The opening of the new five-story complex, part of the Directorate of International Medical Centers, coincided with the 35th anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence and Health Workers' Day, celebrated on October 10.
Minister of Health and Medical Industry Myratberdi Gaiypov reported to the head of state on the progress of the work, the equipment of the departments, and the improvement of the surrounding area. President Berdimuhamedov thoroughly examined the capabilities of the future complex, which includes consultative, diagnostic, and therapeutic departments, an inpatient unit for children over three years old, an operating room, laboratories, a conference hall, and children's play areas.
During the inspection, the head of state personally inspected the specialized offices and wards of the inpatient facility. Particular emphasis was placed on digitalization and the implementation of advanced technologies. The diagnostic and therapeutic units are equipped with endoscopic and digital X-ray equipment from leading global manufacturers, powered by artificial intelligence systems. AI technologies enable doctors to quickly obtain highly accurate data, accelerating diagnosis and treatment planning.
The new center is focused on international standards and direct cooperation with leading global clinics. An online monitoring system for instant data exchange between specialists has been implemented in the operating unit and departments, and automated microclimate sensors have been installed in the wards. Children have been provided with conditions for maximum psycho-emotional comfort, including interactive digital solutions during procedures.
Summarizing the inspection, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov gave a number of specific instructions regarding strict adherence to the schedule and quality of construction and finishing work. The head of state emphasized the need for continuous professional development of medical personnel, the effective use of unique AI equipment, and the creation of a reliable electronic medical data storage system.
