Ashgabat is completing the inspection and coordination of organizational details ahead of the 111th meeting of the CIS Economic Council, scheduled for September 11. The results of the three-day working meetings in the capital of Turkmenistan were recorded in the final protocol, signed by CIS Deputy Secretary-General Ilkhom Nematov and Turkmenistan's Minister of Finance and Economy Mammetguly Astanagulov.

The CIS Executive Committee delegation thoroughly assessed the readiness of the capital's infrastructure, facilities, and facilities allocated for the high-profile forum. In parallel, the technical side fully developed and agreed on the draft agenda, which included 28 key issues.

The central topics of the upcoming discussions include a concept for developing the production of advanced materials for high-tech industries, a five-year plan to ensure transport security for international shipping (2026–2030), a large set of financial agreements, and the establishment of new core organizations for the Commonwealth. Almost half of the documents reviewed (12 drafts) will be submitted to the CIS Heads of Government Council for approval following the Ashgabat consultations.
