During the conversation, the diplomat was briefed on the key areas of the country's peace-loving foreign policy, emphasizing Ashgabat's commitment to actively expanding ties with African countries.
On the same day, the new head of the Algerian diplomatic mission met with Deputy Minister Myahri Byashimova at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, where she was presented with copies of her credentials.

The two sides discussed in detail the prospects for developing ties, citing regular consultations between the Foreign Ministry and the organization of high-level contacts as key factors for deepening dialogue. Coordination within international organizations, primarily the UN, as well as the establishment of interparliamentary ties and the expansion of the legal framework, were highlighted as examples of their joint agenda.
The economic dimension of cooperation includes the participation of businesses from both countries in international exhibitions and business forums held in Ashgabat and Algiers. Agriculture and the textile industry were identified as among the most promising sectors for joint projects. Furthermore, the diplomats expressed mutual interest in strengthening cultural and humanitarian ties, implementing educational programs, exchanging experience between universities, and developing cooperation in sports and tourism.
