Chairman of the State Service of Maritime and River Transport of Turkmenistan Azat Shanazarov met with Türkiye's Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu on the sidelines of the 5th Türkiye Maritime Summit. The parties discussed prospects for expanding maritime transport between the two countries and strengthening cooperation in the transport and logistics sector.

The talks focused on the development of shipping, modernization of port infrastructure, and enhancement of transport connectivity in the Caspian region. Following the meeting, Minister Abdulkadir Uraloğlu shared its outcomes on his official X social media account.

"We will continue to strengthen the strong friendship between Türkiye and Turkmenistan through close cooperation in the maritime sector," the Turkish minister stated.

The 5th Türkiye Maritime Summit brought together representatives of government agencies, business circles, and industry organizations to discuss key issues related to the development of maritime transport, port infrastructure, shipping, and international cooperation.
