On July 1, several large-scale hydraulic structures were inaugurated in Turkmenistan. These structures are designed to dramatically improve the supply of irrigation water to Akhal farmland and strengthen the capital's drinking water supply. The new stations and facilities are fully automated and equipped with advanced digital technologies.

Two new, modern water-lifting stations were simultaneously commissioned in the Gokdepe district of the Akhal province. The first is equipped with specialized equipment from leading German manufacturers. Its capacity is designed to provide uninterrupted water supply to over 6,000 hectares of local agricultural land. As part of this project, construction workers laid 39,789 meters of water pipelines, including 26,929 meters of pipelines and 12,860 meters of concrete collectors.

The second water-lifting station, built by Turkmen specialists, is designed to irrigate the etrap's foothills. Its key technological feature is the use of green energy: solar panels are installed here, providing uninterrupted power to all irrigation equipment.

Water distribution to irrigated fields is regulated through special automatic gates integrated into a single digital system. To launch this station, 42,074 meters of pipelines (23,659 meters of water pipes and 18,415 meters of concrete drains) were laid. To celebrate the launch, new vehicles and specialized equipment were handed over to local farmers.

The third most important project of the day was a hydraulic structure built directly in the Karakum River in Ashgabat. The project, commissioned by the Ashgabat mayor's office, was implemented by CAI Interbudmontazh. This complex is directly involved in the modernization of the city's domestic and drinking water supply systems.

The capacity of the new capital's hub is an impressive 181 cubic meters of water per second. All processes here—from the electromechanical opening of the gates to monitoring water quality and levels—are automated and controlled through a digital control center. The facility is completely autonomous: it is equipped with its own underground reservoirs, pumping and electrical stations, a powerful diesel generator in case of emergency, and is also connected to the dedicated communications network of the Garagumderýa association.
