Samsung unveils the affordable Galaxy A27 5G smartphone with AI features

Samsung has officially introduced the new Galaxy A27 5G, the latest addition to its popular A-series lineup. Compared with its predecessor, the new model offers a more powerful processor, a refreshed design, and an expanded suite of artificial intelligence features. The smartphone is aimed at users looking for solid performance at an affordable price.
The biggest hardware upgrade is the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset, which delivers smooth performance for everyday tasks, mobile gaming, and multitasking. The device features a bright 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. It also has a slim 7.8 mm body, while the 12 MP front-facing camera is neatly housed in a small punch-hole cutout.
One of the Galaxy A27 5G's key strengths is its advanced AI capabilities, many of which were previously available only on flagship devices. The Circle to Search feature can now recognize multiple objects on the screen at once. Object Eraser makes it easy to remove unwanted elements from photos, while Voice Transcription can instantly transcribe and translate spoken language into 22 languages. The smartphone is also fully compatible with AI assistants such as Google Gemini, Perplexity, and Bixby.
Official sales will begin on July 14, with prices starting at US$350. At launch, the smartphone will be available exclusively in Black.
