Turkmen Educators Explore Digital Innovation at Erasmus+ Forum in Bulgaria


Faculty members from the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan are participating in international scientific and educational events taking place from June 20 to 30, 2026, at Angel Kanchev University of Ruse in Bulgaria. The working visit is organized within the framework of the European Erasmus+ academic exchange program and is aimed at modernizing higher education. The information was published on the official website of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan.
The main objective of the visit is to study advanced teaching approaches, exchange experience in innovative educational methods, and promote the integration of digital technologies into the learning process. The forum has brought together representatives of 13 universities from 10 countries, including France, Türkiye, Montenegro, and Egypt. On the opening day, participants presented the scientific and educational achievements of their institutions.
The key topics of the working sessions include the integration of artificial intelligence into education, the application of blended and interactive learning models, and strengthening the international competitiveness of universities.
At the same time, the prestigious international scientific conference CompSysTech'26 on computer systems and technologies is being held as part of the visit. Researchers from around the world are discussing the latest developments in cybersecurity, cloud technologies, digital transformation, and IT systems. Turkmen educators are actively participating in these discussions, exploring opportunities for joint research projects and expanding academic mobility programs with their international colleagues.
Participation in Erasmus+ activities helps enhance the professional qualifications of Turkmen faculty members and strengthens the international reputation of the country's national higher education system.
