The republican stage of the “Tatar Kyzy” competition has concluded in Tatarstan. The event brought together 12 participants from various districts of the republic, including Baltasi, Atnya, Agryz, Muslyumovo, Aktanysh, Apastovo, Laishevo, and Tukay districts.

The winner was Dina Zaripova from the Baltasi District. She will represent Tatarstan at the international final of the “Tatar Kyzy” competition, which will be held in Turkmenistan this year.

According to the organizers, the competition evaluates not only the participants’ appearance but also their creative talents, knowledge of the Tatar language, and understanding of the spiritual and cultural heritage of the Tatar people.

The international final is held annually in different countries, with the host location determined according to the home region of the previous year’s winner.

Last year, the “Tatar Kyzy” international competition was won by Alsu Rafikova from Turkmenistan.
