Turkish Airlines has received the “Europe’s Best Food & Beverage Service” award at the 2026 Best Airline Awards. The award is presented by APEX (Airline Passenger Experience Association), one of the world’s leading organizations dedicated to evaluating passenger experience quality.

Türkiye's national carrier has now won this prestigious award for the fifth time, once again demonstrating the highest standards of in-flight catering and its unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction. The APEX awards ceremony took place on June 10 in Dublin, Ireland, as part of the international aviation forum Future Travel Experience EMEA, Ancillary & Retailing.

How the Voting Was Conducted

The winners of the 2026 APEX Awards were determined based on independent, anonymous, and verified passenger reviews collected in partnership with TripIt® by Concur®, one of the world’s most popular travel-planning applications.

During the large-scale evaluation process, passengers rated their experiences on a five-star scale based on more than one million flights operated by over 600 airlines worldwide. Travelers assessed their journeys across five key categories:

• Seat comfort;

• Cabin service;

• Food and beverages;

• In-flight entertainment;

• Wi-Fi connectivity quality.

The Secret to Success: Gastronomy at High Feet

Turkish Airlines continues to enhance its in-flight dining concept by combining the warmth of traditional Turkish hospitality with quality, variety, and authenticity.

Thanks to its renowned “Flying Chef” service, extensive menu options, and regularly updated dining concept, the airline offers passengers a unique culinary experience across its extensive route network, which spans more than 130 countries on six continents.
