The development of cooperation in the field of human rights protection
On 10 June, Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Georgia D.Seyitmammedov met with Public Defender of Georgia L.Ioseliani.
During the meeting, the sides noted the steady and dynamic development of Turkmen–Georgian relations, based on the principles of friendship and mutual respect.
The parties paid particular attention to current human rights issues, as well as to the improvement of national human rights protection mechanisms and the enhancement of their practical effectiveness. They also emphasized the importance of strengthening the exchange of experience and best practices between the relevant institutions.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to continue a regular and constructive dialogue and to further deepen cooperation on the basis of mutual respect and trust.
