The first stop on the route was the Museum and Exhibition Complex of the Russian Academy of Arts (Zurab Tsereteli Art Gallery) – this prestigious venue has historically served as the home for the renowned cultural forum, which first opened in the Russian capital exactly 11 years ago, on June 5, 2015.

On the invitation of the Sounds of the Dutar Foundation, Turkmen artists and musicologists also visited the renowned Moscow Helikon Opera Theatre, directed by Dmitry Bertman. The guests from Ashgabat experienced an innovative production of Gian Carlo Menotti's opera "The Medium." Immediately following the performance, a lively professional dialogue ensued: opera singers and masters of the arts from Turkmenistan and Russia exchanged creative impressions, discussed contemporary trends in the performing arts, and outlined promising formats for joint academic projects.

The meetings held in Moscow's iconic artistic and theatrical venues demonstrated that the legacy of Turkmen classical music continues to be a vibrant and sought-after instrument of international humanitarian dialogue.
