The official announcement by the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the results of its business mission to Turkmenistan confirmed that the bilateral trade and economic partnership has entered a trajectory of practical diversification. According to a report published on May 28 by the Minsk branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, following interactions with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, the parties succeeded in converting a long-standing political dialogue into a series of specific commercial agreements.

The new agreements cover a broad range of mutual interests, including the food industry, advanced wood processing, high-tech instrumentation, and advanced medical technologies. The 25th International Exhibition and Conference "White City Ashgabat 2026" served as the main platform for direct, targeted B2B negotiations with leading Turkmen companies focused on foreign economic activity, where Belarusian businesses were able to showcase their production potential in detail.

A busy schedule of meetings between members of the Belarusian delegation and the leadership of relevant Turkmen ministries, agencies, and private companies resulted in firm agreements to begin regular deliveries of Belarusian interior doors, modern medical equipment, and specialized medical technology to Turkmenistan.

Furthermore, Turkmen counterparties expressed a specific interest in purchasing high-quality fiberboard and chipboard, and expert groups are currently working on the technical and logistical parameters for exporting Belarusian cellulose and innovative street lighting systems.

During the meeting, the specifics of doing business, mechanisms for increasing mutual trade turnover, and schedules for companies' participation in upcoming congresses and exhibitions in the two friendly countries were thoroughly analyzed.
