Turkmen Delegation Participates in Major Educational Forum in Tatarstan
Representatives of Turkmenistan’s science and education sector visited Naberezhnye Chelny, where they exchanged experience with foreign colleagues and discussed the introduction of digital technologies into school education. This was reported on the official website of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan.
The large-scale event was held at Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University and brought together leading researchers, methodologists, and practicing teachers from Russia, Turkmenistan, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and other countries.
Turkmenistan was represented at the international scientific and educational platform by a distinguished delegation headed by Bayram Byashimov, Director of the National Institute of Education. The working group also included leading lecturers from the Turkmen National Institute of World Languages named after Dovletmammet Azadi.
The main topic of the expert discussions was the continuous development of teachers’ professional competencies as a key resource for improving the quality of modern education. In an era of rapid digitalization, schools require new approaches, and therefore special attention was given to innovative technologies.
During specialized practical seminars, foreign colleagues demonstrated the operation of a unique digital simulator to Turkmen specialists. This virtual training platform allows future teachers to model classroom lessons of varying complexity and effectively develop their professional skills before entering a real classroom.
A roundtable discussion, where Bayram Byashimov served as a key expert, was also highly productive. Participants engaged in a lively exchange of views on methodological aspects of using interactive video materials based on Turkmen and Russian folk tales in the educational process. Such an approach helps make lessons more engaging and promotes intercultural dialogue.
An important part of the visit was a warm meeting between the head of the delegation and Turkmen students currently pursuing higher education in Tatarstan. Bayram Byashimov sincerely wished the young compatriots success in their studies, encouraged them to master their chosen professions diligently, demonstrate a high level of culture, and return to their homeland as highly qualified specialists.
The participation of Turkmen experts in the forum became an important step toward strengthening academic ties and will contribute to the further development of productive cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation.
