On Thursday, April 16, the Yagshigeldi Kakayev International University of Oil and Gas held the opening ceremony of Lu Ban's Workshop, the first vocational education laboratory initiated by China to train technical specialists in Turkmenistan.

The event was attended by a Chinese delegation led by Ding Xuexiang, member of the Standing Committee of the Politburo of the CPC Central Committee and First Vice Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China.

As noted in the speeches of the opening ceremony participants, comprehensive modernization of education and science, strengthening the relevant infrastructure, and training highly qualified specialists are essential for the sustainable development of our country and its achievement of new heights. In this regard, great importance is attached to studying advanced global practices and developing effective relations with foreign partners in science and education.

The establishment of the Lu Ban Workshop in Turkmenistan will contribute to the training of highly qualified personnel and will become an important platform for strengthening humanitarian ties and exchanging experiences between the two nations.

The center is equipped with modern facilities, providing students and young scientists with ample opportunities to study the experience of Chinese specialists in geology, drilling, and information systems.

The center will be an important component in training professional personnel for the oil and gas industry and will facilitate the introduction of China's latest technologies and expertise into the Turkmen education system.
