On 14 April, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Muhammetgeldi Ayazov, met with the Secretary-General of the International Digital Cooperation Organization, Ms. Dimah Al-Yahya.
In the course of the meeting issues of establishing and developing mutually beneficial digital cooperation between the International Digital Cooperation Organization and its member states, as well as Turkmenistan were discussed. In particular, Deemah Al-Yahya spoke in detail about the work of the Organization. He also noted that as part of its strategic goals, they attach importance to strengthening digital cooperation between Central Asia and the member states of the organization, developing cross-border investments, and holding high-level ministerial talks to coordinate mutual approaches.

Ambassador M. Ayazov noted that in recent years, special attention has been paid to the development of the digital economy in Turkmenistan, and in this regard, a new Concept and State Programme for 2026-2028 have been approved.
