BUSINESS | ORIENT. Turkmen halal producers will participate in one of Russia's largest trade fairs, the Kazan Halal Market. The event will be held from May 12 to 17, 2026, as part of the 17th International Economic Forum "Russia – Islamic World: KazanForum."

According to «Tatar-inform», Taliya Minullina, head of the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency, confirmed the participation of Turkmenistan, Jordan, and other OIC countries. According to her, the market's scale is growing annually, encompassing new market segments—from food products to high fashion and household goods. All products presented must have a valid halal quality certificate. Registration for participants is open until April 15, 2026.

Participation in the Kazan fair offers not only direct sales but also access to the multi-million-strong market in Russia's Muslim regions. For Turkmen clothing brands and organic food producers, this is a chance to find wholesale customers and distributors as part of the KazanForum business program.
