According to the Decree of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, from March 2 to 6, every woman in the country will receive cash gifts in a ceremonial setting on behalf of the head of state.

During these several days, ceremonies will be held across the country—from major ministries to rural kindergartens—that highlight the high status of women in Turkmen society.

All women, without exception, will receive a holiday gift: employees of enterprises and organizations of all types; women enjoying retirement and receiving state benefits; female students, postgraduate students, and trainees of the Academy of Public Administration; schoolgirls and kindergarten students.

The gift amount is 60 manats. The gift presentation in a festive setting is an opportunity for teams to once again express warm words to their colleagues and congratulate them on the spring holiday. This annual ceremony ignites a wave of festive spirit throughout the country, reminding them that women are the guardians of the home.
