An Online Meeting Was Held Between the Institute of International Relations of the MFA of Turkmenistan and ADA University

Today, an online meeting was held in a digital format between ADA University of Azerbaijan and the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The meeting was attended by ADA University Vice-Rector Fariz Ismayilzade, Rector of the Institute of International Relations of the MFA of Turkmenistan Gulshat Yusupova, as well as the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Turkmenistan Gismet Gozalov and the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Azerbaijan Gurbanmammet Elyasov. This was reported on the official website of the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Turkmenistan.
During the meeting, the importance of strengthening existing cooperation between the two higher education institutions in the fields of science and education was emphasized, and areas of mutual interest were discussed.
In accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the institutions, the participants reviewed opportunities for holding joint academic events, exchanging experience, organizing scientific and practical conferences, conducting lectures and seminars, arranging faculty and student exchanges, and expanding cooperation in scientific publications. It was also noted that Turkmen diplomats and students have participated in educational programs held at ADA University.
It was stated that the Turkmenistan–Azerbaijan Joint Intergovernmental Commission plays an important role in developing cooperation in science and education, contributing to the consistent expansion of collaboration through joint projects and academic initiatives.
Attention was also drawn to the declaration of December 15 as the “World Day of Turkic Languages” at the 43rd UNESCO General Conference. In this regard, possibilities for organizing joint inter-university events dedicated to this occasion were considered.
In addition, the participants exchanged views on future directions of cooperation in science and education within the existing partnership frameworks.
