On January 20, organized by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the State of Qatar, meetings were held between representatives of the Institute of Language, Literature and National Manuscripts of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly and the deans and scientists of the Hamad bin Khalifa University located in the Educational Campus of Qatar.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Ambassador informed about the fact that 2026 will be named the year of “Independent, Permanently Neutral Turkmenistan - Homeland of Purposeful Heavenly Horses” in Turkmenistan and the festive events to be held on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the Independence of our Motherland.

During the meeting, the members of the delegation visited the university library and got acquainted with its rich book collection, as well as their storage, use, and implementation of modern digital systems. Within the framework of the meeting, they discussed the development and improvement of the Arabic language, as well as innovative methods of studying manuscripts in the ancient Arabic language.

They also got acquainted with the architectural project of the Hamad bin Khalifa University located in the Educational Campus in the style of Islamic works of art. In addition, a number of issues related to establishing, developing bilateral cooperation in this area and exchanging experience were discussed.
