A new stage of international cooperation has begun at the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan. From January 12 to 16, a training seminar is being held with the participation of professors from leading German universities. The event is aimed at introducing modern teaching methods and exchanging experience in the field of renewable energy.
The meeting is based on memorandums signed in September 2025 with Martin Luther University and Clausthal University of Technology. The cooperation is developing within the framework of a large-scale European Union project to combat climate change. This partnership enables lecturers and students to master advanced technologies and improve the quality of scientific research.

The practical part of the seminar focuses on sustainable energy systems and the application of environmentally friendly solutions. Upon completion of the program, participants will receive international certificates confirming their professional qualifications. Such initiatives directly contribute to industrial modernization and the strengthening of the country’s energy potential.
Strengthening ties with leading global scientific centers has become possible thanks to the modernization of the institute’s infrastructure. It should be recalled that in 2025 a new modern campus complex of the institute was inaugurated, creating all the necessary conditions for training highly qualified specialists. Today, such educational reforms help the youth of Turkmenistan confidently integrate into the global scientific community.
