From January 1, 2026, a new amount of family capital has been set in Belarus. Families will now receive 35,505 Belarusian rubles upon the birth or adoption of a third or subsequent child, according to BELTA.
Compared to last year, the payment amount has increased by 6.7%, which means the level of support has risen by 2,230 rubles. The program remains one of the most significant measures of assistance for large families: more than 151,000 deposit accounts have already been opened across the country.
The new amount applies to families whose third or subsequent child is born or adopted in 2026. If the joyful event took place in 2025, the payment amount will be 33,275 rubles.
Experts remind that the amount of state support is fixed on the date of the child’s birth. In the case of adoption, the decisive factor is the date when the court decision officially comes into force.
These funds help parents address important issues such as improving housing conditions or paying for education or medical services. Regular increases in payments allow the program to remain a reliable pillar of support for Belarusian families.
