Ashgabat, December 26 | ORIENT. Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held the final expanded meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers and the State Security Council for 2025. The head of state summarized the results of the outgoing International Year of Peace and Trust and officially approved the country's development vector for 2026.

At the meeting, the President approved the motto for 2026 , which associates the country's purposeful movement with racehorses and sets a dynamic pace for development. This image will serve as an expressive metaphor for the energetic development and new large-scale projects that Turkmenistan intends to implement in the near future.

As noted, a significant foreign policy achievement at the end of the year was the adoption of two landmark resolutions by the UN General Assembly, initiated by Turkmenistan.

The "Decade of Sustainable Transport (2026–2035)" is a project that cements the country's status as a key logistics hub. The adoption of this resolution effectively passes the baton from the Year of Peace to the Year of the Horse, transforming these words into a long-term strategy for global infrastructure development.

In this vein, the resolution on sustainable energy connectivity is a document emphasizing Turkmenistan's role in global energy security.

The President emphasized that the unanimous support of these and other initiatives by the international community is a victory for Turkmen diplomacy and a confirmation of the effectiveness of the policy of neutrality.

Summing up the domestic policy, the head of state noted the stability of the national economy: high growth rates have been maintained in key sectors, social obligations such as wages, pensions, and benefits have been fully and promptly financed, and the construction of residential communities and production facilities continues throughout the country.

The head of state instructed that all services be fully prepared during the holidays, so that the country enters a new era in an atmosphere of security, abundance, and a creative spirit.
