As part of ongoing leadership reshuffles, Intel has announced the appointment of Cindy Stoddard as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer (CIO). Stoddard previously spent nine successful years in the same role at Adobe.
She will officially assume her new position on December 1 of this year. This appointment underscores the strategic importance of Intel’s IT direction, as the company aims to modernize outdated systems and deepen its collaboration with AI platform developers. CEO Lip-Bu Tan noted that Stoddard has the leadership qualities necessary to drive long-term success.
The new CIO brings more than 25 years of experience in this field. At Adobe, she oversaw IT operations and cloud solutions. Stoddard also held leadership roles at NetApp, Safeway, and other major companies, working on business process optimization and logistics.
At Intel, in addition to advancing AI-driven digital transformation, Stoddard will be responsible for modernizing legacy IT systems and creating conditions for faster internal decision-making. Her extensive experience in cloud solutions and logistics is therefore critical to strengthening Intel’s operational framework in the long run.
