The Russian airline S7 expects to launch flights on the Ashgabat–Novosibirsk route in the spring of 2026. This was announced to journalists by Evgeny Chernyshev, S7’s chief representative in Central Asian countries.

"We hope that starting from the spring of 2026, we will open a flight from Ashgabat to Novosibirsk. This route is currently being actively developed. S7 is rapidly expanding its destinations in Central Asia; we fly to all countries in the region," he said in response to a TASS question on the sidelines of the joint international exhibitions “Turkmentel-2025” and “International Transport and Transit Corridors: Connectivity and Development – 2025.”

Chernyshev added that S7 has been operating Moscow–Ashgabat flights since 2008, and they are currently performed daily. As he previously explained, Novosibirsk was chosen as the new destination from Ashgabat because it hosts the airline’s largest transfer hub, from which S7 already operates flights across Russia.
