Innovation and Nanomedicine: Turkmenistan’s Lecturers Embarked on Training in Japan

Two lecturers from Turkmenistan’s Engineering and Technology University named after Oguz han have traveled to Japan to gain advanced scientific experience. From October 1 to 17, 2025, they will participate in training programs at the Innovation Center for Nanomedicine (ICONM) in Kawasaki. Turkmenistan, actively developing equal partnerships with foreign countries, prioritizes education and innovative technologies.

The ICONM center is recognized as one of the world’s leading research institutions specializing in nanotechnology, nanomedicine, and nanomaterials.

The trip was organized under a Memorandum of Understanding signed between Engineering and Technology University named after Oguz han and the Kawasaki Institute for Industrial Development. This document provides for regular exchanges of specialists to familiarize themselves with the latest scientific research.

The main goal of the lecturers’ visit is to enhance professional qualifications, master modern scientific methods, and exchange ideas for implementing joint scientific projects.

Participation in ICONM programs will make a significant contribution to enriching Turkmenistan’s higher education system with the best global practices. This is an important step in integrating innovative methods into the training of young engineers, directly aligning with the objectives set by the country’s leadership.
