On guard for security: Turkmenistan sums up the work of security agencies
07.09.2025 | 00:47 |President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a meeting of the State Security Council. During the meeting, the results of the work of the military and law enforcement agencies for eight months of 2025 were summed up.
The main leitmotif of the meeting was ensuring peace and security in the country, which is a priority of state policy. The participants of the meeting discussed:
Military doctrine: The head of state emphasized that the defensive Military Doctrine will continue to be strengthened, and the Armed Forces will continue to develop at a modern level.
Preparation for the holiday: Particular attention was paid to preparations for the celebration of the 34th anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence. Secretary of the State Security Council, Minister of Defense Begench Gundogdyev was instructed to ensure a high level of holding the ceremonial military parade.
Road safety: The focus was also on the month-long event "Road Safety - the Peace of our Lives." Minister of Internal Affairs Mukhammet Khydyrov was instructed to ensure the organized conduct of all planned events.
Law and order: The issues of compliance with the law and crime prevention were discussed.
Social protection: It was noted that the state will continue to create favorable conditions for military personnel and their families, improving their social and living conditions.
Digitalization: The heads of departments reported on the introduction of digital systems and advanced technologies in the work of their structures to increase their efficiency.
State border: The importance of reliable protection of borders was emphasized, which, as the President noted, are the borders of friendship and good neighborliness.
During the meeting, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a Decree on the appointment and dismissal of judges, as well as assigning them qualification classes, and gave a number of specific instructions for each department.
