Ambassador of Turkmenistan was accredited in Monaco

On May 30, the Principality of Monaco hosted a ceremony of presenting credentials by new ambassadors from a number of countries. Among the diplomats who began their mission was Ambassador of Turkmenistan Maksat Charyev.

The ceremony took place in the Princely Palace, where Ambassador of Turkmenistan Maksat Charyev presented his credentials to Prince Albert II of Monaco.

In addition to the Turkmen ambassador, the ambassadors of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Kingdom of Thailand and the Czech Republic also presented their credentials.

Following the official ceremony, the new ambassadors took part in a diplomatic lunch hosted by Isabelle Berro-Amadei, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Monaco. This meeting provided an opportunity to discuss the friendly and cooperative relations that the Principality maintains with each of these countries, according to the website of the Government of Monaco.

Maksat Charyev, whose residence is in Paris, is also the Permanent Representative of Turkmenistan to UNESCO and the accredited Ambassador to Portugal. His accreditation in Monaco opens up new opportunities for the development of relations between Turkmenistan and the Principality.
