On May 10th, the "Business at the Pulse" forum was held in Ashgabat, organized by Arassa Nusga and Lotta Business Group with the support of the EBRD. The event brought together representatives from trade, distribution, manufacturing, and the service sector.

The main topics of discussion centered on how technology assists businesses in growth, process management, and maintaining control during scaling. Particular attention was paid to real-world case studies of ERP, CRM, and BI implementation. Entrepreneurs shared their experiences of transitioning from manual management, while consultants discussed the challenges and lessons learned during the implementation of accounting systems. Participants of the forum noted: "The forum made it clear that if problems arise in a business at a certain stage of development, it's not necessarily because we are doing something wrong. It's simply that as a business grows, manual management becomes impossible".

During the interactive sessions, participants highlighted their main managerial challenges:

• "At the end of the month, I still don't understand how much profit actually remains".

• "The flow of clients has decreased, and it's unclear why".

• "The whole day is spent on routine tasks, and there's no time left for strategy".

These points of feedback united companies from completely different sectors. "These are typical symptoms of companies that have outgrown manual management. Business cannot grow on intuition.
