Petronas Strengthens Cooperation with Turkmenistan: Focus on Energy

The conversation was a continuation of the course on deepening the partnership between the two countries, especially in the energy sector.
Petronas is one of the oldest and most reliable foreign partners of Turkmenistan. The company began its operations in the country in 1996 and since then has been actively involved in projects to develop hydrocarbon deposits on the Caspian shelf. In addition to oil and gas production, Petronas provides support in training personnel for the national oil and gas industry.
As the President emphasized, Turkmenistan attaches great importance to the development of ties with Malaysia and is interested in expanding cooperation in new areas.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects for implementing new joint initiatives, including the introduction of advanced production technologies, environmentally friendly developments and expanding cooperation in the field of training specialists.
