From April 27 to 29, the international training seminar DARYA SCAFFOLD is being held in Almaty. Organized with the support of the European Union and the European Training Foundation, the event has brought together experts and educators from all Central Asian countries. This was reported by the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan.
Turkmenistan is represented at the forum by eight specialists, including officials from the Ministry of Education, as well as heads and teachers of leading vocational institutions in the country. Participation in such initiatives is part of the state policy aimed at modernizing the education system and introducing international quality standards.
The main objective of the seminar is to master the innovative SCAFFOLD tool. This is a practical approach to designing educational programs that helps teachers make lessons more effective and ensures greater transparency in student assessment. The program includes interactive sessions, group work on real-life cases, and active exchange of professional experience among colleagues from across the region.
At the end of the three-day seminar, participants will develop draft professional development programs for their national education systems. The acquired tools will help adapt modern pedagogical solutions to the needs of local schools and colleges.
