 The first professional skills championship, TurkісSkills-2025, will be held in Aktau

Over 100 young professionals aged 16 to 22 and 80 highly qualified experts from eight countries: Kazakhstan, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Hungary, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, and Mongolia, will participate in the first professional skills championship among Turkic-speaking countries, TurkісSkills-2025, which will take place in the cultural capital of the Turkic world, Aktau. This was reported on its website on May 9th by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The event, scheduled for the autumn of this year, is being organized within the framework of the Year of Working Professions, announced by the President of Kazakhstan. According to the report, this large-scale initiative aims to strengthen the prestige of working professions, create a professional space, and stimulate the exchange of experience among young specialists from Turkic-speaking countries. The championship will become an important platform for unlocking the potential of youth, promoting modern technologies, and forming a new generation of qualified personnel capable of meeting the challenges of the time.

The competitions will be held in 15 key competencies, covering the fields of information technology, construction and building technologies, manufacturing and engineering technologies, and social and personal services. Special attention will be paid to such promising areas as mobile robotics and unmanned aerial vehicle control.
