The President of Turkmenistan expressed condolences to Myanmar regarding the earthquake
31.03.2025 | 00:55 |The President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, has sent a message of profound condolences to the Chairman of the State Administration Council, Prime Minister of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Min Aung Hlaing, in connection with the powerful earthquake that occurred in the central region of the country. This natural disaster has resulted in numerous casualties and caused significant damage.
In his message, the Head of the Turkmen State, on behalf of the people and Government of Turkmenistan, as well as on his own behalf, expressed sincere condolences and conveyed words of support to the families and loved ones of the deceased, wishing a speedy recovery to all those injured.
According to reports from international news agencies, a series of powerful tremors struck the central part of Myanmar on Friday, March 28, 2025. The earthquake, with a magnitude of 7.7, claimed the lives of over 1,600 people and led to severe destruction of residential buildings and infrastructure.
