The Embassy of Japan in Turkmenistan hereby informs of the discontinuation, effective April 1, 2025, of the option for separate shipment of duty-free goods for foreign visitors to Japan, including Japanese citizens temporarily returning to Japan.

The shipment of duty-free goods by mail or other means is possible if the relevant documentation (such as delivery slips or documents meeting specific requirements) is presented at the time of shipment.
